Thanksgiving is rapidly approaching. It is the time when all family, friends, co-workers and even strangers gather together to break bread and to express what they are thankful for. Given the fact that we are alive and reading this post means that there is a lot to be thankful for. So, before going to bed tonight or heading to work in the morning, think about all of the things that you are thankful for and tell someone so that they too can hear positivity throughout the day.
On this cold and stormy evening here in Virginia, there are many that do not have food to eat, a home to live in, and a warm bed to sleep in. Amazingly, I talked with someone today who was missing one the three that I mentioned above, but was still thankful that they were alive and well.
So, I leave you with this note. In 1 Thessalonians 5:18 of the New International Version (NIV) it reads, "give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." What ever you do, give thanks. Be thankful for breathing, seeing, family, love, friends, finances and anything that you can think of - be thankful.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
