Unexpected Changes

No one knows the day, the hour, or the time when a change is about to occur. Many times when we are hit with unexpected changes which not only changes our day, it alters our outlook on life. Anyone who has experienced a loss of a loved one, a loss of a job, or even a birth of a newborn or a purchase of a new home, has experience changes in their lives. However how do you deal with an unexpected change such as a loss of a loved one, a loss of a job, a friend, marriage or anything that you did not expect to happen?

I recently connected with two friends who let me know that some changes were happening in their lives. One was quite drastic and resulted in the loss of income. Another friend had a loss of two loved ones who were very dear to them. I asked them both, "how do they deal with change?" They both answered humbly,  "take one second, one hour, one day, one week, one month at a time." Change is never easy especially when you know you're on the right path and something happens in your life to create stumbling blocks, and it always seems that maybe your not going in the right direction.  I find that sometimes when you do come across changes that are very good for you, adversity comes right after. It's what you do when the adversity hits that tells us who we are. It shows us how strong we are whether we can overcome it or whether we're going to succumb to it. The main objective is to become "Victorious" throughout anything in your life.

How do we overcome changes especially negative changes? We take it step-by-step and never stop moving forward. The key is keep moving. Don't stop. Keep driving. Know that you can be victorious. If you never stop then you will always come out on top. But if you do stop, then you may never know where you could have ended up. So, what am I saying?  Never stop moving. Never stop growing.  Always look forward and know that changes are something that helps us grow, helps stretch our minds and actually puts us in a place where we become better people if we let that change be something positive in our lives.

I hope this post was helpful. If you are experiencing some kind of change that can help someone today, please feel free to share your thoughts.

Stay fabulous,
Suzie
